摘要 <p>A power generation prediction device that predicts the amount of power to be generated by wind power is characterized by comprising: a power curve storing unit that stores power generation characteristics information for converting wind speed to an amount of power generated by a wind turbine generator; a storing unit for the amount of power generated that associates and stores the history of the actual values for the power generated and date and time information; a climate data storing unit that associates and stores the history for a plurality of types of climate data, including wind speed, and date and time information; a relational expression deriving unit that finds, on the basis of the climate data, the amount of power generated that was converted from the wind speed, and the actual amount of power generated for a prescribed period in the past, a relational expression for the same; a climate data acquiring unit that acquires a predicted value for climate data for a specified date and time; a unit to calculate an amount of power to be generated that predicts an amount of power to be generated for the specified date and time on the basis of the predicted climate data for the specified date and time, the amount of power generated converted from wind speed for the specified date and time, and the relational expression; and an unit to output the amount of power to be generated that outputs the predicted value for the amount of power to be generated.</p>
