PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type chair which has armrests, is easily set up and stored, and has excellent strength while it is a portable chair that is lightweight, compact, and is excellent in carrying,.SOLUTION: A folding type chair 1 includes: a pair of right and left front leg frames 2 extending slantingly from a front side lower part toward a rear side upper part; a pair of right and left rear leg frames 3 which extend slantingly toward a rear side lower part and are rotatable in a front-back direction; a pair of right and left seat surface supporting frames 4 which support both right and left sides of a seat surface by side surfaces and are rotatable in the vertical direction; a pair of right and left armrest frames 5 which are rotatable in the vertical direction; and a pair of right and left armrest supporting frames 6 which are movable in the vertical direction for supporting the armrest frames. Since a lower end part of the armrest supporting frame and a lower side surface of the front leg frame are rotatably connected at both end parts of a rotary joint member 7, the armrest supporting frame moves vertically when the rotary joint member rotates about the position connected to the front leg frame, and the arm rest frames are collapsed or expanded. Consequently, the folding type chair 1 can be stored or set up. |
