<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety gate for an injection molding machine which eliminates the clearance between a guide member of a safety gate and a track laying member on which the safety gate runs and allows smooth opening and closing of the safety gate.SOLUTION: In a holding member 2, at least the part between notches 5 has elasticity. The width Lb of the inner wall of a guide rail 6 is slightly smaller than the sum Ld of the diameter Lc and the gap La of a guide bearing 4 (La+Lc=Ld>Lb). In this state, the elastic support part 2a of the holding member 2 is pressed into the guide rail 6 while undergoing elastic deformation, and the guide bearings 4 arranged so as to sandwich the notch 5 rotate independently and smoothly while being pressed toward the inside wall of the guide rail 6 through an elastic force of the elastic support 2a of the holding member 2. The clearance between the guide bearings 4 and the inner wall of the guide rail 6 is thus eliminated, preventing a safety gate 1 from moving freely in the horizontal direction (X).</p> |
