PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide control device of a continuously variable transmission which can control a change gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission without enlarging the size of a device.SOLUTION: A control device of a continuously variable transmission provided with a continuously variable transmission mechanism (4) for changing a gear change ratio by changing a wrapping diameter of a belt (17) held by pulleys with a hydraulic pressure supplied to hydraulic cylinders (21, 22) which are mounted on a vehicle and are provided on the pulleys (15, 16) includes: a hydraulic pressure supply part (30) which supplies actuation oil with a prescribed hydraulic pressure; a flow rate control part (43) which controls supply flow rate to the hydraulic cylinder (22) of the actuation oil to be supplied by the hydraulic pressure supply part (30); and flow rate setting means (45) which sets a target hydraulic pressure to be supplied to the hydraulic pressure cylinder (22) and sets the flow rate of the actuation oil to be circulated through the flow rate control part (43) for achieving the target hydraulic pressure.
