A pre-wired electrical junction box 10 comprises an outer housing 12 and an inner casing 14 in the outer housing. The inner casing encloses prearranged first, second and third main electrical conductors which are fixed relative to and electrically insulated from each other within the inner casing. A plurality of first, second and third electrically conductive spurs extend from the electrical conductors. At least a portion of a longitudinal extent of each of the said first, second and third spurs is fixed relative to each other within the inner casing, and a terminal connector 112 is connected to each of the said first, second and third spurs and abuts or substantially abuts the inner casing. Engaging means is also provided for engaging the inner casing and the terminal connectors with the outer housing, whereby the terminal connectors are inseparable from the inner casing without the inner casing being first disengaged from the outer housing. The terminal connectors are spaced from sidewalls 24, 26 of the outer housing, and the outer housing includes at least one frangible access cover 28 in at least one sidewall to receive an electrical cable therethrough. |
