A method for attaching control devices to a control system in a mesh network, the method comprises connecting a control device to an apparatus over the mesh network; defining at least one configuration task for the control device; and transmitting in an active state, based on the at least one configuration task, a configuration message over the mesh network, to the control device. The method further comprises changing to an idle state, for a time period, in response to failing to receive a reply message from the control device, and releasing the mesh network for other communication; changing to the active state, in response to an expiration of the time period; receiving the reply message from the control device over the mesh network; and closing the at least one configuration task in response to the reply message from the control device. |
