A small keyboard is disclosed. The small keyboard having physical keys comprises: a shift key and a mode key arranged on side surfaces, respectively; a group of selection keys arranged on an upper surface in the form of matrix of four rows and three columns, and including twelve independent selection keys having different key codes according to a selection of the mode key; and a group of common keys arranged on the upper surface in the form of matrix of three rows and three columns above or below the group of selection keys, and including nine independent common keys having a constant same key code regardless of a selection of the mode key. The small keyboard includes physical keys. The small key of the present invention can implement many keystrokes in a small size by setting a key code to simultaneous input of neighboring keys, and can implement almost all keystrokes performed on a standard keyboard with physical keys in a small size enough to move by realizing a number mode, an alphabet mode, a Hangul mode, and a multimedia mode in a keyboard with physical keys. Therefore, the small keyboard as a physical object provides satisfactory mobility and fast input at the same time. |
