The present invention relates to a quad mixer which is a quadraphonic microphone/line preamplifier audio mixer and, more specifically, to a quad mixer which has a three-band transversal line equalizer (TEQ) tone control and a balanced line output, has a remote input level control and a channel on/off switch, and is useful when compensating different microphone types or various tone features of a speaker because an aux input and a microphone/line input are mixed and outputted as a program mix which uses a pin jumper. The audio quad mixer of the present invention includes a transversal line equalizer including: a peaking filter which has a variable resistor R3 positioned between an output end and a grounding as a peaking filter output control unit and boosts and cuts a 800 Hz range; a high-pass shelving filter which has a variable resistor R2 positioned between the output end and the grounding as a high-pass shelving filter output control unit and shelves and boosts a high frequency of 2 KHz; and a low-pass shelving filter which has a variable resistor R1 positioned between the output end and the grounding as a low-pass shelving filter output control unit and shelves and cuts a low frequency of 300 Hz. Moreover, a high-pass filter is more included in order to: be positioned after the transversal line equalizer, perform a high-pass filtering of the output of the transversal line equalizer, and be comprised to select one between 20 Hz and 100 Hz as a cut frequency. |
