PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion variation detection device for an engine capable of accurately detecting combustion variation for each of cylinders of the engine.SOLUTION: An ECU 50 constituting a combustion variation detection device for an engine 10 includes: an actual angular speed acquiring section 51 for calculating an actual angular speed of a crankshaft 10a for each of cylinders of the engine 10; a real angular speed acquiring section 52 for calculating a real angular speed of a prescribed cylinder when it is assumed that combustion does not vary for each of the cylinders based on an actual angular speed of the prescribed cylinder, an actual angular speed of a previous cylinder of an ignition order just before, and an influence degree X of the angular speed of the previous cylinder with respect to the angular speed of the prescribed cylinder; a temporary angular speed acquiring section 53 for calculating a temporary angular speed in consideration of the influence of the angular speed of the previous cylinder with respect to the real angular speed of the prescribed cylinder based on the real angular speed of the prescribed cylinder, the actual angular speed of the previous cylinder, and the influence degree X; a difference acquiring section 54 for calculating a difference (angular speed difference) between the actual angular speed and the temporary angular speed; and a standard deviation acquiring section 55 for calculating a standard deviation (angular speed standard deviation) of the angular speed difference in the prescribed cylinder. |
