PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of accurately estimating an EGR flow rate even when opening-flow characteristics of an EGR valve are varied by secular change.SOLUTION: A control device for an internal combustion engine includes an exhaust gas recirculation amount estimating unit for learning relationship between an exhaust gas recirculation valve opening area calculated by an exhaust gas recirculation valve opening area calculating unit and an opening of an exhaust gas recirculation valve, and based on the learned relationship between the exhaust gas recirculation valve opening area and the opening of the exhaust gas recirculation valve, estimating an exhaust gas recirculation amount used for controlling the internal combustion engine. |
