PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a seal lip, a protrusion part and a sliding surface to be continuously lubricated by lubricant held by a lubricant holding part and an appropriate tight seal performance by a slide seal to be kept for a long period of time.SOLUTION: There is provided a slide seal 11 in which a first member 13 is rotatable in respect to a second member 14, an annular clearance 16 between the two members is sealed and closed by the slide seal 11, and the slide seal 11 installed in an installing recess part 19 arranged in the second member 14 comprises an engaging part 23 fixed to the installing recess part 19, a seal lip 24 press contacted with a slide surface 13a of the first member 13 to prevent dust at atmospheric side from forwarding and entering to lubricant 18 to be tight-sealed, a protrusion part 26 arranged at the lubricant 18 to be tight sealed rather than at the seal lip 24, and formed in an annular shape in which its inner diameter N1 is substantially coincided with an outer diameter N2 of the slide surface, and a lubricant holding part 27 formed between the seal lip 24 and the protrusion part so as to hold the lubricant 18 to be tight-sealed. |
