摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate regenerative electric energy to be obtained during decelerated travel of a vehicle without use of an information acquisition system such as a navigation system, and preferably ensure a charging ratio of a battery by effectively utilizing regenerative power obtained along with deceleration while decreasing a fuel consumption of an engine.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle 20 includes as a control system a hybrid ECU 70 that calculates estimated regenerative electric energy Er, which is estimated to be obtained during decelerated travel succeeding accelerated travel, using acceleration energy Ea required to accelerate the hybrid vehicle 20 for the accelerated travel, a battery ECU 55 that corrects a charge/discharge request power Pb* with a correction value &Dgr;Pb dependent on the estimated regenerative electric energy Er between the accelerated travel and decelerated travel, and a hybrid ECU 70 and engine ECU 24 that decrease an output of an engine 22 according to the charge/discharge request power Pb* corrected with the correction value &Dgr;Pb.
