ROTATION ANGLE DETECTION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detection apparatus capable of discriminating a magnetic pole boundary line direction of a magnet from a rotor in a state where a magnet cover is attached.SOLUTION: A rotation sensor 30 includes: a holding groove 39 for holding a magnet 31 in a state where a magnetic pole boundary line direction from a magnet mounting part 37 on which the magnet 31 is mounted is regulated; a pair of widths 40 across flats, which are formed so that a line connecting a mark to a rotation axis O makes a predetermined angle with the magnetic pole boundary line direction; and a magnet cover 33 for surrounding the whole magnet 31 so that at least a part of the pair of widths 40 across flats is exposed.
