PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyethylene terephthalate film that has a small content of a cyclic trimer in a polyethylene terephthalate layer constituting the film, and can be suitably used, for example, for electrical insulation.SOLUTION: The method for producing a polyethylene terephthalate layer is produced by melting and extruding a polyester resin containing 60 wt% or more of (A) a polyester having a terminal carboxyl group content of 20 equivalent/t or less and an intrinsic viscosity of 0.66 or more to be molded. |
