PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reproduction response function while maintaining, even in use requiring high quality (e.g., commercial use) visibility without hindering the use.SOLUTION: A reproduction device includes: a function (steps S130 to S160) in which data about an HD material relating to a material specified to be reproduced (first material data relating to the invention) is acquired from a server and reproduced; and a function (steps S200 to S230) in which data about a proxy material relating to a material specified to be reproduced (second material data relating to the invention) is acquired from the server and reproduced. Until a preparation of a reproducing process for the HD material (acquisition of data from the server, decoding processing, etc.) is completed for the material specified to be reproduced, a reproducing process for the proxy material is performed (step S230). In the stage in which the preparation of the reproducing process for the HD material is completed, the reproducing process for the HD material (step S160) is switched. |
