<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption of a terminal.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a display control section; a touch panel; a setting section; selection section; and a drawing processing section. The display control section displays a first display image on a screen. The touch panel accepts input to the screen by a user. The setting section sets a frequency with which a processor for controlling display processing operates to a first frequency until a touch operation which is an operation to the touch panel is started, and when start of the touch operation is detected, sets the frequency to a second frequency higher than the first frequency. The selection section selects a frequency with which the processor operates from among frequencies equal to or higher than the second frequency, and notifies the setting section of a selection frequency which is the selected frequency before changing an image to be displayed on the screen to a second display image different from the first display image. The drawing processing section performs processing for drawing the second display image after the processor is set so as to operate with the selected frequency.</p> |
