Disclosed are a messenger server, an information search system using an instant messaging service, and a method. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the information search system using the instant messaging service includes: a messenger server providing a user terminal with a chatting window to chat with smart friends, extracting user interest information of the user terminal when receiving position information of the user terminal and a search query inputted into the chatting window from the user terminal, and transmitting the user interest information, the search query, and the position information; and a smart friend server receiving the user interest information, the search query, and the position information of the user terminal, generating search result information by searching for the information matched with the user interest information, the search query, and the position information of the user terminal, and transmitting the generated search result information to the messenger server. |
