<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering high quality Sc efficiently when recovering scandium from Ni oxide ore by using a chelate resin.SOLUTION: The method comprises: a leaching step S1 where a slurry of Ni oxide ore in sulfuric acid is separated into a solid and a liquid of leached liquid and leach residue under high temperature and high pressure; a neutralizing step S2 of adding a neutralizing agent to the leached liquid to obtain a neutralized liquid; a sulfurizing step S3 of adding a sulfurizing agent to the neutralized liquid and separating the product into Ni sulfide and a sulfurized liquid; an adsorption step S4 where the sulfurized liquid is contacted with a chelate resin for Sc to be adsorbed by the chelate resin; an Al removal step S5 where sulfuric acid of 0.1 N or less is contacted with the chelate resin after Sc adsorption to remove Al from the chelate resin; a Sc elution step S6 where sulfuric acid of 1 N or more but 3 N or less is contacted with the chelate resin after Al elution to obtain a Sc eluate; and a Cr removal step S7 where sulfuric acid of 3 N or more is contacted with the chelate resin after Sc elution to remove Cr from the chelate resin.</p> |
