<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily prevent the risk of damage or rupture such as plastic deformation of a lock arm member 12c in simple configuration.SOLUTION: An electric connector comprises a lock arm regulation part 14e for regulating irregular movement different from regular movement of a lock claw 12a, the lock claw 12a being configured to perform regular movement so as to be engaged to or disengaged from a signal transmission medium F inserted into an insulation housing 11. The lock arm regulation part 14e is disposed so as to oppose a lock arm member 12c in two directions of an insertion/ejection direction of the signal transmission medium F and a direction orthogonal to the insertion/ejection direction. Therefore, in the case where an irregular external force such as a tensile force in a direction different from the original insertion/ejection direction is applied to the signal transmission medium F, the lock arm member 12c partially abuts the lock arm regulation part 14e, and the irregular movement of the lock claw 12a is prevented.</p> |
