摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode material which enables the further improvement of the high rate characteristic, especially further decrease in DC resistance (DCR), a method for manufacturing such an electrode material, an electrode, and a lithium ion battery.SOLUTION: An electrode material of the invention comprises an aggregate including carbonaceous material-coated electrode active material particles. The carbonaceous material-coated electrode active material particles each include a LiADPO(where A is at least one element selected from a group consisting of Co, Mn, Ni, Fe, Cu, and Cr, and D is at least one element selected from a group consisting of Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Ti, Zn, B, Al, Ga, In, Si, Ge, Sc, Y, and rare earth elements, and x, y, and z satisfy the following conditions: 0<x≤2, 0<y≤1, and 0≤z≤1.5) particle and a carbonaceous coating film coating the surface thereof. The aggregate has a BET value of 8-40 m/g, an average pore size of 0.5μm or smaller, and a pore distribution which describes a single-peak curve. The aggregate includes therein 0.3-3.0 mass% of conductive assistant to the LiADPOparticles.
