The invention refers to a wood-based shuttering panel used for the manufacture of concrete constructions with a new, improved surface protection providing increased impact resistance and wear-and-tear resistance of the panel and its manufacturing process. The invention falls within the branch of construction equipment. A shuttering panel with improved surface protection consists of a regular shuttering panel having its surface reinforced with pigmented threaded fibreglass, impregnated with amino resins, placed on the surface immediately after applying a liquid catalysed melamine urea-formaldehyde resin, serving as an adhesive for threaded fibreglass.
