PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a necessary and sufficient drive force act on a crank shaft at a start of an engine without causing the enlargement and heavy weight of a rotor and a stator even if a starter generator mechanism of an electric generator which is interposed with a reduction mechanism is employed, and to obtain necessary and sufficient generated power according to a vehicle requirement value of an electric component or the like after the start of the engine.SOLUTION: A planetary gear mechanism 59 including a sun gear 62, a planetary gear 63, a carrier 64 and a ring gear 65 is arranged. A sun gear 62 and a rotor 52 are connected to each other, and the carrier 64 is connected to a crank shaft 16. A one-way clutch 60 for regulating the rotation of the ring gear 65 in the reverse direction at a start of an engine is arranged. A centrifugal connection/disconnection mechanism 61 for permitting the relative rotation of the ring gear 65 and the carrier 64 when a rotation speed of the carrier 64 does not reach a regulated speed, and connecting the ring gear 65 and the carrier 64 when the rotation speed reaches the regulated speed or higher is arranged. |
