FAILSAFE SYSTEM FOR LOAD COMPENSATING DEVICE

A device and a system which automatically operate an air deflector of a load compensating device when the power or the network is cut off are provided. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device and the system are designed to rotate a gear and include a spring which accordingly activates the air deflector. The spring is a torsion spring and biased to rotate the gear when released from a fixed position kept by a latch. The latch is controlled by a releasing apparatus such as a solenoid which can be operated in network cut-off situation. The releasing apparatus releases the latch, and the spring is released thereby to activate the air deflector.
