The present invention relates to a steam generator for cooking food by spraying superheated steam of a high temperature into the food directly. The steam generator comprises; a case (10) including a steam generating room (11) for generating steam, and a control room (12) for controlling the generation of the steam; a rod-shaped heater (20) which is installed inside the steam generating room (11) and embeds a hot wire (21) for generating heat to a power source applied from the outside and includes a coupling unit (22) in which a screw thread is formed on the lower side; a heat conduction pipe (56) which is installed on the surface of the heater (20) at regular intervals; a steam generating pipe (58) which is installed on the surface of the heat conduction pipe (56) at regular intervals and is combined with a steam discharge pipe (40) at the upper end and is connected to a supply pipe (25) in which water is supplied at the lower side; and a holder (44) which is combined with the top of the steam discharge pipe (40) and includes one or more needles in which superheated steam is discharged. The holder is fitted to and combined with instant food forcibly. An indirect heating method in which the water supplied from the supply pipe (25) is heated without contact with the heater (20) is applied to the steam generator. The present invention simplifies the structure of the steam generator to increase the temperature and capacity of superheated steam of a high temperature for cooking food and reduces time to cook the food by spraying the superheated steam into the food directly and cooking the food inside and outside evenly. The present invention generates the superheated steam of a high temperature in a short peirod of time with large capacity and reduces energy and shortens a cooking time and improves reliability of the steam generator by cooking portable food on the spot. |
