PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for manufacturing a membrane-electrode assembly in which substrate deformation, air entrainment or generation of creases is prevented.SOLUTION: A membrane-electrode assembly manufacturing device and method for manufacturing a membrane-electrode assembly including an electrolyte membrane 1 and an electrode comprises: a first stage 7 (6) capable of fixing and heating the electrolyte membrane 1; a second stage 6 (7) capable of fixing and heating transfer substrates 2 and 4 including electrodes; and lamination means 10 for laminating the electrolyte membrane 1 fixed to the first stage 7 (6) and the transfer substrates 2 and 4 fixed to the second stage 6 (7) by bringing the electrolyte membrane 1 and the transfer substrates 2 and 4 into contact while heating them. The first stage 7 (6) and the second stage 6 (7) are formed from porous materials. One of the first stage 7 (6) and the second stage 6 (7) is formed from a columnar stage 6, the other is formed from a planar stage 7, and the columnar stage 6 is laminated while being rolled on the planar stage 7. |
