METHOD FOR CONTROLLING WATER TREATMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a water treatment apparatus maximally utilizing the trapping performance of a filter aid when removing the suspended matters from water to be treated by using the filter aid.SOLUTION: A method for controlling a water treatment apparatus includes the steps of: monitoring a time required for feeding slurry of a filter aid from a filter aid storing tank to a filter aid mixing tank; monitoring a time required for feeding water to be treated from a water-to-be-treated storing tank to the filter aid mixing tank; monitoring a time required for feeding a dispersion medium from the filter aid mixing tank onto the filter of a solid-liquid separator; storing treated water in a treated water storing tank; and feeding the treated water from the treated water storing tank onto the upper part of the filter in the solid-liquid separator to break a filter aid layer, transferring the filter aid constituting the filter aid layer to a filter aid separation tank, and monitoring a time required for feeding the treated water.
