PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens frame for thermal caulking in which degradation of optical characteristic by thermal caulking is prevented even when a dimension error is found between a lens and the lens frame.SOLUTION: A lens frame includes: a lens frame body 3a that holds a lens; a caulking projection 13d that is provided to the lens frame body 3a for forming a folding portion for fixing a position of the lens by thermal caulking; and a groove portion that is provided in a concave shape at a projection outer peripheral surface 13k being a surface of the caulking projection 13d and houses a part of a molten portion of the caulking projection 13d during formation of the folding portion.
