PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable type reel in which a reel width can be changed easily, and a gap is not generated in a portion that web etc. is wound even when the reel width is changed.SOLUTION: In a variable type reel which includes a core 2 that a sheet-like member is wound and a pair of flanges 8, 8 provided so as to sandwich the core 2, the core 2 is hollow and cylindrical, an outer core 3 in which the sheet-like member is wound at an outer surface and a connection member 20 for connecting the pair of flanges 8, 8 are provided, the outer core 3 is formed by plural cylindrical members of the same outer diameter, and the connection member 20 can change the distance between the pair of flanges 8, 8. The reel width can be changed by changing the distance between the pair of flanges 8, 8 through the connection member 20 and by changing the number of the plural cylindrical members which form the outer core 3 and length of each cylindrical member. |
