<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that is able to acquire an image signal of a satisfactory S/N ratio while a desired framing time is achieved.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: a converter part 101 in which pixels, having a conversion element, an outputting switching element, and an initialization switching element, are arranged; an outputting drive circuit 102a for controlling an output operation; an initialization driving circuit 102b for controlling initializing operation; a reading circuit 103 for performing a signal sample hold operation in which an electric signal read via a transmission route is temporarily held, and a reset operation in which the transmission route is reset; and a control section 108 for exerting control so as to perform: the termination of an output operation for a predetermined line after the termination of the reset operation, and the start of an output operation for other line; the initialization of a signal sample hold operation after the termination of the output operation for the predetermined line and the initialization of the output operation for the other line; the initialization of a reset operation and an initializing operation, after the termination of the signal sample hold operation; and the termination of a reset operation after the termination of the initializing operation.</p> |
