PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that, for example, in a conventional headlight device for vehicle, a sight line of a driver may be guided outside with respect to a travel direction of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A headlight device for vehicle comprises: a third lamp unit 41; a fourth lamp unit 42; a fifth lamp unit 43; a detection part 7; and a control part 8. The control part 8 controls so as to light the all three lamp units 41, 42, 43 when a relative angle to an object vehicle 9 is in a range from a front surface direction 0° of an own vehicle C to a predetermined angle &thetas;1. When the relative angle to the object vehicle 9 exceeds the predetermined angle &thetas;1, the control part 8 turns off the third lamp unit 41. Thereby the invention can prevent a sight line of a driver from being guided outside with respect to a travel direction of the vehicle. |
