<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet head, which is capable of maintaining electrical insulation between an ink and an electrode, having excellent print quality and excellent durability.SOLUTION: An ink jet head includes a substrate consisting of piezoelectric material having multiple grooves and a nozzle plate fixed on an edge surface of the substrate with an adhesive, the nozzle plate occluding one end along a longitudinal direction of each of the grooves and having multiple nozzles which are laser-processed so that they are communicated to the grooves. Electrode to which a driving voltage is applied are formed on inner surfaces of the grooves of the substrate. Each of the electrodes is formed with multiple metal layers laminated so as to cover each of the inner surfaces, and each front surface distance from each of the inner surfaces is flattened. A first inorganic film is laminated on each front surface of the electrodes. On the first inorganic film, a second inorganic film, which is exposed in each of the grooves and is soaked in an ink supplied in each of the grooves, is laminated.</p> |
