<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination apparatus capable of securing improved voltage regulation characteristics and reducing harmonic distortion of commercial power supply.SOLUTION: A light emitting diode illumination apparatus comprises: a power supply unit converting an AC to provide a rectification voltage; a light source 12 configured by a plurality of light-emitting diode channels LED1-LED3 each including one or more light-emitting diodes, and emitting light by being applied with the rectified voltage; and a control circuit 14 selectively providing a current path depending on level change of the rectified voltage via a plurality of switching circuits 31-33 respectively connected with the plurality of light-emitting diode channels, and independently controlling a current of the current path for each channel by using a control pulse whose pulse width is changed.</p> |
