1. A bone implant, comprising:
a first surface and a second surface, the first and second surfaces comprising a bioresorbable material; a third surface comprising a biocompatible material disposed between and connected to the first and second surfaces, the third surface extending between a first end and a second end, the first and second ends each including an inner surface defining a cavity configured for disposal of a spinous process; wherein the bioresorbable material of the first and second surfaces is a faster resorbing material than the biocompatible material of the third surface; and wherein the third surface provides structural integrity of the implant to maintain distraction between spinous processes so that the first and second surfaces fuse with at least a portion of the spine. |
