A vehicle front structure provided with an engine cradle (32), an engine assembly (80), and an energy transmission lateral member (22). The engine cradle (32) is provided with a cradle-side member having an engine mount structural part (82), and the cradle-side member extends rearward from a front corner part (60) of the engine cradle (32). The engine assembly (80) is statically linked to the engine cradle (32) via the engine mount structural part (82). The energy transmission lateral member (22) is statically attached to the cradle-side member between the engine mount structural part (82) and the front corner part (60) of the engine cradle (32). The energy transmission lateral member (22) has an engine contact surface (110) positioned in proximity to the engine assembly (80), and a predetermined lateral gap (G) is provided between the engine contact surface (110) and the engine assembly (80).
