发明名称 SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FEED FORWARD CONTROL OF A HYDRAULIC CONTROL SYSTEM OF A TRANSMISSION
摘要 The present disclosure provides a hydraulic system of a transmission having a controller and a variable displacement pump. The pump includes an inlet and outlet and is adapted to be driven by a torque-generating mechanism. The system also includes a lube circuit fluidly coupled to the pump. A lube regulator valve is disposed in the lube circuit, such that the lube regulator valve is configured to move between at least a regulated position and an unregulated position. The regulated position corresponds to a regulated pressure in the lube circuit. A pressure switch is fluidly coupled to the lube regulator valve and configured to move between a first position and a second position, where the switch is disposed in electrical communication with the controller. A solenoid is disposed in electrical communication with the controller and is controllably coupled to the pump to alter the displacement of the pump.

主权项 1. A method of controlling fluid flow and pressure in a hydraulic system of a transmission, comprising: providing a controller, a variable displacement pump, a hydraulic controls, a fluid circuit fluidly coupled to the pump, a regulator valve, a pressure switch, and a solenoid for operably controlling pump displacement; pumping fluid from the pump into the fluid circuit to produce a fluid flow and pressure therein; regulating the pressure in the fluid circuit at a regulation pressure; detecting the regulation pressure with the pressure switch and communicating the regulation pressure to the controller; determining a leakage adaptive factor as a function of the regulation pressure, a pump leakage factor, a hydraulic controls leakage factor, and a plurality of geometrical restrictions in the fluid circuit; and adjusting the displacement of the pump from a first displacement to a second displacement as a function of the leakage adaptive factor.
