<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system which can operate a fuel cell continuously or intermittently in a desirable manner from the viewpoints of energy-saving, economy, and environmental protection while avoiding deterioration of the cells of the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The cogeneration system 1 having a fuel cell FC which generates both heat and electricity is provided with a control means 5b which controls operation of the fuel cell FC so that the appearance frequency of a long-period stop condition in which the fuel cell stops operation continuously for a period longer than an allowable stop period according to a time indicator information which shows the allowable stop period, that is a period in which the fuel cell FC can be allowed to continue to maintain in an operation stop condition and is defined shorter the more the oxygen concentration near the cathode of the fuel cell FC during operation stop tends to rise, may be fewer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
