The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing titanium dioxide nanotubes. According to the present invention, the photocatalytic property of the titanium dioxide nanotubes is improved by greatly increasing the specific surface area and pore volume of titanium dioxide and the titanium dioxide nanotubes can be applied to various fields such as eco-friendly materials for air and water purification, deodorization and antibacterial activity and can create added value owing to the photocatalytic property improved in comparison with existing titanium dioxide.
