A plastic pressing hammer for an optical fiber fusion splicer of the present invention includes a pressing hammer seat (1) having a mounting hole (11), a pressing hammer spring (2), a pressing hammer main body (3), and a pressing hammer cover (4). An upper part of the pressing hammer main body (3) is installed in the mounting hole (11) of the pressing hammer seat (1), and the pressing hammer cover (4) is fixedly connected to the upper part of the pressing hammer seat (1). The pressing hammer spring (2) is installed between the pressing hammer main body (3) and the pressing hammer cover (4), and a pressing piece (31) is installed at the bottom of the pressing hammer main body (3). The pressing hammer main body (3) is installed in the mounting hole (11) of the pressing hammer seat (1) in a line contact manner, and a fixing mechanism (32) matching with a V groove (61) on a core frame (6) of the optical fiber fusion splicer is installed on the rear end of the pressing piece (31) at the bottom part of the pressing hammer main body (3). |
