A system for creating a continuous indentation in a prostatic urethra, comprising: a delivery device sized and configured to be placed within a urethra, the delivery device including at least a first projecting needle and a second projecting needle and a first needle housing receiving the first needle and a second needle housing receiving a second needle, wherein at least one projecting needle is configured to project transverse to a longitudinal axis of a distal end portion of the first or second needle housing; a first distal anchor component and a second distal anchor component each initially housed within and deployable to an outside surface of a prostate by the delivery device while the delivery device remains within the urethra; and at least one proximal anchor component attached to each of the first and second distal anchors.
