PURPOSE: An apparatus for diagnosing breast cancer is provided to extract peak intensities corresponding to the mass values of low-mass ions for diagnosing the breast cancer, thereby directly providing positive/negative information about the breast cancer through a simple calculation. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for diagnosing breast cancer includes a low-mass ion detecting part (1000), a breast cancer diagnosing part (2000), a display part (3000). The low-mass ion detecting part detects the mass spectrums of low-mass ions from biological specimens for the cases of multiple breast cancer patients and non-patients. The breast cancer diagnosing part determines breast cancer diagnosis information through a comparative analysis for the mass spectrum patterns of the low-mass ions. The display part converts the breast cancer diagnosis information into a form capable of being output, and displays the form.
