A polarity reversal drive method and drive device, and a liquid crystal display device, which weaken a flicker caused by POL reversals. The polarity reversal drive method is used for polarity reversals of pixels on a liquid crystal display panel, and comprises: generating a polarity reversal reference signal, the polarity reversal reference signal being used for reflecting the polarity selection of each row of pixels on the liquid crystal display panel; generating a control signal, which comprises a control level generated in m frames, wherein m is an integer greater than or equal to 2; the width of the control level in each frame of the m frames gradually increases to a value which is equal to the duration of one frame in time order; or the width of the control level in each frame of the m frames gradually reduces to zero from the value which is equal to the duration of one frame in time order; and according to the polarity reversal reference signal and the control signal, generating a polarity reversal signal.
