1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
receiving from a consumer device a request to consult with a service provider, the request including consumer personal information, plan sponsor information, and a plan identification; determining eligibility of a consumer associated with the request, to engage in the consultation under a service plan corresponding to the plan identification; and while determining eligibility, determining by one or more computer systems a service provider to engage in a real-time consultation with the consumer; receiving eligibility information that indicates the consumer's eligibility and level of access to services and co-pays required by the plan;
adding by the one or more computer systems an entry corresponding to the consumer to a queue maintained for the service provider; and when the entry corresponding to the consumer in the queue is at the top of the queue, causing by the one or more computer systems establishment of a real-time communication channel between a device used by the provider and the device used by the consumer. |
