PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge cap in which an engaging part is firmly fitted when closing of a lid, thereby preventing the lid from being easily opened, and the lid can be opened easily and with a weak force.SOLUTION: In a hinge cap which is attached to a container mouth 1 and comprises a cap base A and a top cover B, the cap base A includes an external cylinder 5 fitting to the container mouth 1, a ring-shaped upper wall 6, a lid engaging part 7 provided upright on the upper wall 6, and an extraction cylinder 9 provided upright on an inner edge of the upper wall 6, and an engaging protrusion 22 is provided upright on an outer peripheral upper part of the lid engaging part 7. The top cover B includes a top wall 30, an outer peripheral wall 31 and an inner peripheral wall 32, an inner peripheral lower end part of the outer peripheral wall 31 is provided with an engaging recess 34 engaging with the lid engaging part 34, and an inner peripheral lower part of the engaging recess 34 is provided with a swelled ring 35 of which an upper part is in contact with a lower part of the engaging projection 22 of the lid engaging part 7. On the side of the outer peripheral wall 31 opposite to a hinge C, a pinch piece 38 is provided on a lower end part thereof, and a wall part having an inner periphery of the engaging recess 34 of the outer peripheral wall 31 is a thin wall and can be deformed. |
