PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a local power demand control system which reduces the burden of power saving at power peak off, in processing for power peak off of a user in a time zone of peak power by reducing the incremental power purchased from a power company more than conventional.SOLUTION: In a system for controlling the power, that is purchased by a user in an area managed by an area management server from a power company in a peak time zone of power demand, the user house of the user includes a storage battery, and a home gateway for controlling charge and discharge processing of the storage battery based on a control table indicating in which time zone the storage battery is controlled. The area management server includes a peak power information collection unit for collecting peak power information including the peak power time zone and peak power in its management area from a power demand estimate conducted by the power company, and a control table generation unit for generating a control table of the storage battery based on the peak power information and transmitting the control table to the user. |
