PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce erroneous detection of presence of an object occurring when all the detection means constantly apply light.SOLUTION: A plurality of sensors are divided into a plurality of groups, such that those with the same order of emission belong to the same group and those causing mutual interference belong to a different group. Then, a lamp control CPU receives detection signals from the plurality of sensors, and performs sensor control processing before generating coordinates information indicating coordinates of an area shaded by player's hands. More specifically, first 1 is set to a group number G (step 3301). Next, all the sensors belonging to a group having the group number G are allowed to emit light (step 3302), and processing for adding 1 to the group number G (step 3303) is repeated until it is determined that the group number G has become larger than the number of groups (Yes for step 3304), and all the sensors are allowed to emit light. |
