PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrode which enables the suppression of reduction in energy density while keeping an insulating property.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrode comprises: a coating step (step S1) in which a negative electrode active material layer is formed by coating at least one side of a negative electrode metal foil with an active material paste including an active material and solvent; a first drying step (step S2) in which after the coating step, the content of the solvent in the negative electrode active material layer is made 20-50% when supposing that the content of the solvent in the coating step is 100%; and a spray step (step S3) in which after the first drying step, a coat layer is formed by spraying a fluid mixture of alumina particles and carrier fluid for carrying the alumina particles on the surface of the negative electrode active material layer. |
