<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thin lens elements, in a stereoscopic image display device allowing a three-dimensional image to be observed at a plurality of view points using a plurality of lens elements.SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image display device includes a display section 21 having a plurality of pixels, and a plurality of lens elements 43 arranged on the front surface of the display section 21. Each of the lens elements 43 condenses the light having transmitted through a unit pixel of a stereoscopic image to a plurality of view points, so that stereoscopic image observation at the plurality of view points is allowed. When the number of pixels in the vertical direction included in the unit pixel of the stereoscopic image is denoted with n and the number of pixels in the horizontal direction included in the unit pixel of the stereoscopic image is denoted with m, d lens elements 43 cover the unit pixel of the stereoscopic image.
