PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire for a passenger car in which rolling resistance performance can be compatible with quietness performance.SOLUTION: In a pneumatic radial tire, two circular direction main grooves 2 are provided on a tread surface 1, and plural land part rows 3 are formed by the two circular direction main grooves and a ground-contacting edge E in a tire width direction. The land part rows are formed by a central land part row 3a which is formed as sandwiched by the circular main grooves and two outside land part rows 3b which are formed by the ground-contacting edge in the tire width direction and the circular direction main groove. The central land part row is a rib-type land part, and comprises a central lug groove 4 which opens to one side of the two circular direction main grooves, and terminates in the central land part row. The outside land part row is a rib-type land part, and comprises an outside lug groove 6 which opens to the ground-contacting edge in the tire width direction and terminates in the outside land part rows, and an outside sub lug groove 7 which opens to the circular direction main grooves, is of a narrower groove than that of the outside lug groove and extends in a tread width direction. |
