PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device capable of improving flexibility in the orientation of a housing of the measuring device with a simple structure, and a leg portion structure of the measuring device. SOLUTION: A measuring device 100 has a housing 1, and a display portion 2 having a main plane surface provided so as to be exposed to at least a part of an outside surface of the housing. The measuring device 100 has a leg portion structure 10 which supports the housing on a supporting plane surface P, and is composed of two leg portions 10a and 10b respectively installed to installing portions 4a and 4b provided at both end portions of the housing in an axial direction which is generally parallel with the main plane surface and the supporting plane surface of the display portion when the housing is supported on the supporting plane surface. The leg portions respectively have holding portions 11a and 11b fitted with the installing portions from the outside and rotatably holding the installing portions, and supporting portions 12a and 12b placed on the supporting plane surface to support the holding portions.
