The device has a chamber which is provided for receiving to-be-dried material. A process air supply is provided for processing the air heated through a heater, and the air is fed to the chamber, derived from the chamber, cooled in a condenser and is dehumidified. A heat pump device is provided, in which the refrigerant is circulated and is passed through an evaporator, a compressor, a condenser and a throttle or capillary. The evaporator and the heating device include the condenser. The heat pump device comprises two heat pump units (B).
